We're Tuesday people. . .

So we're finishing the book over the weekend. I just wanted to open up a post to see if 1.) anyone was actually still checking this thing and 2.) give you a forum to post your thoughts/feelings about the book as a whole and especially the end of the book. There's no grade. You don't have to. But if you'd like to espouse your feelings and or sentiment about Morrie, his life and his philosophies or the impact that it did or did not have on you, comment below. And have a great and safe weekend.

  1. THis was probably the best book that we have had to read in school. The ending was sad but it was the perfect ending for the book because of it being tuesday when he died.

  2. I never thought I would have so much respect for a man who I've never met. This book teaches people a lot of life lessons, some of which certain people should pay very close attention to. If only we all could be so lucky to have a teacher in our lifetime like Morrie.

I believe that the blogging was a very good idea. Most people dont realize that writing is a great way to let emotions out. I've always liked writing and I've always been curious to know what people think of what I've written. Having a blog makes it so much easier. Thanks for helping me get started.

  4. Morrie's philosophies have really made me question our culture today and how it really affects us. I was surprised to realize how much we are affected by our culture. I also began to think how I could change my own life to help others. I am really glad we read this book.

  5. Nice comments here. I have always loved teaching Tuesdays With Morrie, not only because of the book itself and the lessons it teaches, but it connects with you all as students, and to me, that's what being a teacher is all about. You'll learn more from book you like than being forced to read and do things you have no interest in. Hopefully you'll like the rest of the things we do this year as well. Good comments from everyone, hopefully more will keep rolling in. Curtis, that is about what I expected to get from you. Nice.
