The scariest book i have read is the Vampire Hunter D series by Hideyuki Kikuchi. It's obviously about a Vampire Hunter named D, but with twisted versions of the mythological creatures and the unsuspecting plot twists....it makes it scary! The movie is also pretty scary too....
I couldn't say for sure. I don't really watch a lot of scary movies, Im more of a comedy person. :) But probably the scariest movie I can think of would be The Mist. It's absolutely full of suspense and for some reason whenever I watch movies and you discover the entire world has changed in the end, that scares me the worst lol. Probably because you have nowhere to run for help. Anyways the ending was tragic, but it was a very good movie.
I am very scared by scary movies and shows. When I was younger, I watched IT on tv based on a Stephen King novel. It was really scary. I also think that the Nightmare on Elm Street movies scared me very badly because I was really spooked by the thought of something killing you while you slept!! But my ultimate in fear are vampire movies especially the Lost Boys. Growing up that one bothered me a lot.
I am a big fan of the SAW movies. Although they arn't as scary as they are suspensful and gory. However the storyline is great. Not only does John Kramer (Jigsaw) murder many people. It shows it from his point of view as well. He gives everyone the opportunity to live, whether it hinges on the choices of others or their own choice. He almost seems good. SAW is one of the most creative movies I have ever seen
I don't get scared easily by scary stories or shows much at all... If I'd had to pick the one that scared me the most, it would probably be either Vacancy, because I feel it's entirely possible for that to actually happen, or the Mothman Prophecies, because it actually did happen. Close seconds would be Final Destination (I refuse to drive behind log trucks) and The Ring when it first came out.
On the Mist, not only did that movie make me extremely angry, but the ending was absolutely depressing. But, it's probably the best Stephen King based movie I've seen.
I'm not a big fan of scary movies. Particularly because I actually find them pretty funny. I like some suspense though. My favorite one is "The Sixth Sense" (1999), with Bruce Willis and that scared-faced boy. By that time I was 7 and it was the first scary movie that I have ever seen. I spent months without sleeping properly. After grown-up, I saw the movie again and found it a really good movie. Even not believing in spirits. Anyway...
i choose not to watch scary movies because, well, their scary. but i will say the scarriest movie i've seen by far is the holloween movie from like 2007? you know the micheal meyers one? my brother snuck into my room at midnight on night with the mask on and woke me up. it was petrifying! and i haven't really read anything too scary.
I dont get scared by scary movies as much as i used to growing up. I would have to say the scariest movie i have seen though would probably be either the nightmare on elm street or michael myers halloween movies when i was growing up.
not gonna lie.. i'm possibly up for the running for the biggest scardy cat ever. if it is even kinda not really scary it freaks me out. things that normal people would't find scary (the scooby doo ride at 6 flags for example) freaks me out let alone like a legit scary movie. so i would have to say eveything is pretty dern scary=]
ok so i avoid all scary things in general so this list from my parents and friends... 1. close encounter of the third kind (i actually did see this one-i never liked aliens) 2. the shinning (stephen king) 3. pet cematery (") 4. the exorcist 5. halloween 6. nightmare on elm street (i saw this one too, but i was able to make fun of it with my friends so i was ok...)
oh and the haunted house at the KC halloween party!! i have not entered one since about 5th grade...and i went that year with the lights on! yes i think i tie with missy on the scardy cat award =(
okay so, me and lindsey watched this scary movie the other day. it was really good, byt really scary. it's called the uninvited. i thought the movie was really predictable. but towards the end, it took a major twist. and i was totally unprepared for it. it scared the poop right out of me!
well all i watch is scary movies. so i have alot to choose from but i like the movies that are freaky and based on true events and kind of like jump movies. i like the gory movies but not as much as the others. but i do like all the saw movies. im just a big scary movie person . i also love movies with wierd twists towards the end.
This Matt Randall provided that i used to be very scared of zombies (i still am sort of) i would pick one of many zombie movies out today. I have no idea what it is about them maybie it is my primal instinct showing through. The instinct being the fear of being eaten alive. I probably would either turn into a ball in the fetal possition if there was ever a zombie atack or go on a massive zombie killing spree ( hint hint try not to dress up as a zombie as a prank it could in bad or i might just run to the next country.)
